Callan Park – parkland campus proposal
The Callan Park site at Rozelle is owned by the NSW Government, which has asked the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to develop a Land Use Plan for the site.
The Draft Land Use Plan has set aside 35 hectares of the 60 hectare site for a possible parkland campus for the University of Sydney.
The University's proposed vision for Callan Park is for a parkland campus that would complement the existing Callan Park campus occupied by Sydney College of the Arts, creating an open, green learning environment for students while improving community facilities and access to parkland areas.

The Draft Land Use Plan is currently on public exhibition and submissions can be made until 22 February 2008. The University will be submitting a response to this draft plan.
Throughout this planning process, we will consult with the community and Leichhardt Council as this exciting project progresses and encourage you to participate in this process.
