Crafting Sydney's Future: Learning in the 21st Century

On the 14th November 2005 some of the world's finest speakers, researchers and leaders in the planning for learning in the Twenty First Century assembled for a significant one-day strategic symposium with University staff (academic and general). This multi-disciplinary symposium considered the holistic design of Sydney's learning environment; with perspectives on pedagogy, facilties, virtual spaces, technologies and web services. Speakers presented international best practice in strategic planning, curriculum design, benchmarking, research, online collaboration and campus masterplanning.

Attendees networked with University managers, academic staff and professional staff, keen to create the best teaching, learning and research environment in Australia. There were opportunities to workshop key issues, raise concerns and contribute to the shaping of Sydney's future physical and virtual campus.
