Academic Promotions
Applications for promotion are called for annually in the first half of the year. The next round will open in early 2009.
Intending applicants are advised to consult with their Head of School, relevant Associate Dean or supervisor as early as possible before preparing their application. It is also important to read the Academic Promotions Applicant Information document, which sets out the policy and application requirements. An updated version of this document and the applicant forms will be available in January 2009. Until that time, the 2008 document should be used as an early guide, as the requirements for building a case for promotion are unlikely to change greatly.
The Academic Promotions Unit is available to answer any inquiries about the academic promotions process.
