Research Office
The central point for research information for the University is the Research Office, including details on grants, research training, ethics, possible sources of funding for research and the policies governing research at the University:
- Forms & Information required to apply for funding
- Animal Ethics Committee - all research on animals requires ethical approval
- Human Ethics Committee - all research projects and teaching practicals involving human participants as subjects require ethical approval
- Recombinant DNA Monitoring (Biosafety) Committee - any experiment involving the construction and/or propagation of viroids, viruses, cells or organisms of novel genotype requires approval

Sydnovate promotes and facilitates interaction between the university, business and government through a range of activities such as collaborative research, contract research, consulting & joint ventures.
Dean of Graduate Studies
The Dean of Graduate Studies serves as a focus for all postgraduate research and coursework activities across the University. The DoGS office works closely with Deans, Associate Deans (Postgraduate Studies), Heads of Schools/Departments, Postgraduate Coordinators, Supervisors, SUPRA and Postgraduate Students.
